Hello everyone,

I am fairly new to the boards and thought I would share this dream I had last night. It reminds me of the Tower - Tarot card. It was also my first ever Lucid dream. Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think of this dream. Maybe you see something I don't?

My dream began with me throwing a random house party at my aunt's house. She caught us and threw us all out. Then as usual with dreams... the scene and storyline changed...

All of a sudden I was in a basement/concert venue of some sort. I was watching my friend's band play (not a close friend). I remember seeing 3 flute players, which made me very excited since I'm a flute player myself. I then noticed a row of extremely large instuments (maybe harps, I can't remember) lined up around the back wall. As I was pointing this out to someone, I watched as a person tripped and tipped one over causing a dominoe effect.

The large instruments began to fall like a row of dominoes bringing people down with them. They somehow began to multiply too as the room filled up with people and large instruments as if a flood of water. I saw the rush of instruments and people come towards me, but wasn't knocked down. Instead I was carried up and up toward the cieling as if it was rising water.

I then shot out of the roof of the building. I was moving so fast I began to kick my feet and ran/jumped three other building roofs before falling to the ground. When I fell I remember feeling hurt in my leg and realizing it wasn't broken. People were confused as to where I came from and how I go there.

I then thought to myself "other people are going to start falling from the sky and might crush me" so I ran for the train (I live in NYC) to get home safely. On my way to the train I bumped into my mother who said she was at the same venue and escaped the same way I had. Just then a friend called and informed us the event was on the news and 200 people had died.

(This is where the Lucid dreaming happens)... As we walk down an alley way (I don't remember why the scenery changed again) I realized I was dreaming! I said "Why are we so scared, I need to stop stressing out and stop this"... So I looked up and help my hands to the air and said "I want it to snow" (I was born during a snow storm and have always been very fond of the snow - I feel a connection to it). So, it began to snow and I twirled and dancing and laughed....
That was it.

Please tell me what you think of this all. It's a lot to take in but the way we were falling out of a building reminded me of the Tower - Tarot card. And this was also the first time I realized I was dreaming.

Thanks! Blessed be all!

I would say that part of it is the realization of the truth of reality. Fear is an illusion, and when you realize and become aware of what exactly is going on, you can change it to your liking.

I dont know much about dreams but all i can imagine is taking a note of how you felt at the different points in the dream and trying to work them out. It could just be the brain trying to process things with the lucid dreaming. I have extreme vibrant dreams all the time, I can remember up to 5 a night some times more. And they always freak me out all day i think about nothing else.

my first dream of an Obelisc meant only that I had to leave fears and old loves behind... It was like getting over situations and start over to grow up... I haven't read all your post because I'm really really lazy but usually a wall is the representation of an obstacle. Though it would mean another things, reaching goals and things like that as far as I know.

I always wondered what the term "lucid Dreaming" meant. I have those all of the time. It was funny because my husband would tell me about a bad dream and i asked him "why didn't you just wake yourself up". I didn't realize that he might not be able to 8-)
