I think the terror of the experience kind of caused me to immediately jump to something is after me. It must be paranormal. Lol, but Thanks for the good dose of rational!

I've not had anymore of these incidents. My husband repositioned the bed for me and bought me down pillows! I'm sleeping much better!

I havent studied any of the sciences in detail but i do read a fair bit of material on the web, particularly quantum mechanics, absolutely fascinating stuff and its something i use to explain, at least to a degree, the paranormal. After all, witchcraft and ghosts etc... are just science we dont yet understand so why not use a scientific approach to work it all out? *shrugs*

Im glad you are sleeping batter now, a it of relaxation should be all you need :)

Please just use quantum mechanics only when you understand the mathematics behind it ;) It's terrible how people you just heard of Heisenberg or the uncertainty principle totally misunderstand the actual meaning and talk a lot gibberish and people actually believe in this total nonsense because it has "scientific backup". Quantum mechanics opens the doors to some nice effects and theories but mostly it's not a backup and only sometimes could open possibilities to some paranormal effects. It doesn't say anything against it though, mostly it's just not "science proofs: there are ghosts and telepathy is possible, look my aura is so quantum mechanical".

ShadowX: if you want to learn some serios quantum mechanics I could provide you with some book hints. Couldn't provide you pdfs, since I they are all in German of course ;) The material on the web is mostly gibberish, when you weren't looking on actual university sites.

A lot of what i have read comes from wikipedia and newscientist.com, i would rate them fairly highly when it comes to respected info. Wikipedia entries are mostly posted fro, uni graduates and such, no hoaxer could dream up some of the mathematical functions on there.

The particular theories i use to partly explain magick for example revolve around entanglement, somewhat on the uncertainty theory, the theory of the four primary forces (Gravity, EM, weak nuclear and strong) which in turn backup the multiple universe theory/many world hypothesis, again with uncertainty and the effects of observation (which goes back to "If a tree falls in the forest and no-one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Some branches of quantum mechanics suggest the tree never fell over, and yet it did fall over) if we use that in an occult sense along with the notion that there are more than 4 dimensions and that time is not linear we can explain things like tarot cards/divination, telepathy, precognition, de-ja vu etc.... Delving into dark energy, assuming it does indeed exist and isnt just another strange effect of nature that we dont yet understand) we could suggest, although it is a *very* weak suggestion, that this energy is somewhat related to the energy we work with as pagans. That is a weakness, i cant deny, but the energy must be measurable somehow... and it must be subjective too, hence it must be real (as i am sure we all believe it is) and if it is real then it exists in THIS universe, although perhaps not in our 4 dimensions) and so on.....
