Having Trouble...

Postby Mary » Sat Oct 16, 2010 4:50 am

For some reason, I haven't been dreaming at all lately, I'll wake up and my mind will go blank and I don't remember dreaming at all. The last time I remember my dream was when I wrote that dream down in a notebook for a dream diary then for some reason I haven't dreamed anything.

Is there any advice, spell, etc, I should try out or what should I do?

Would you still be willing to write your dream down? If not, maybe that's why you forget it in an instant.

Also a small ritual or meditation right before going to sleep can help wonders. What is your style?

I started a dream diary to try to have more visual dreams because a friend has recommended me it. I will still be willing to write them down, but I just don't remember dreaming while I sleep :(

I would prefer a ritual because I'm still trying to learn how to clear my mind to meditate.

Perhaps place some rosemary and ash leaves under your pillow before you sleep. Rosemary helps memory and ash makes dreams more vivid.

Great info from everyone (:
Also, Jade and Amethyst is wonderful for dreaming more and remembering. Jade especially. I sometimes put feathers under my pillow too and that helps as well. & This may sound funny, but drink a lot of water before going to bed and you might wake yourself up in the middle of the night to go pee and keep your journal by your bed and write down what dreams you remember.

Hope I helped!

Aaw I wake up to pee anyways so I shouldn't drink more than I already do, but I'll buy some feathers and look at jade and amethyst stones.

Do I put the stones under my bed, or wear them as a necklace? What do I do with them?

Anytime i ever remember a dream, it comes true. So i know how you feel (dreamless) because i do not dream as much.. Though i was thinking about trying to dream more often.. you know to see things more!

You could wear them as a necklace! I put them under my pillow when I want to remember dreams. I wear them amethyst when I'm nervous. But, sometimes I sleep with my necklace on and that helps too. It just depends on what you want (: I put Rosemary under my pillow last night and I had some intense vivid dreams and I had not been remembering my dreams. Last night I remembered one. (: So maybe try that!
