Hello to all,
There have always been running themes in my dreams such as me fighting for my life and that of my loved ones. A lot of the times in my dreams I am observing them but it is still me and I feel the same emotions that I feel as though I am in my own body. Rather than an observer. It is really hard to describe.
I have dreams of vampires, werewolves, zombies, crazy people trying to kill me. These are now routine for me to dream of and they are scary at times but I can sort of control some of them. The problem comes where I have the unexpected ones. These are the ones that feel like they have already happened or are going to happen, I wake up with a sense of dread and that something is not quite right. You know that feeling you get in your stomach, that is what I get for a long time after.
I was wondering if any one has any ideas. Are they just dreams or are they really trying to tell me something?

They are both dreams, and trying to tell you something.
No-one truly knows why we dream, but it has at least two obvious purposes, one is to work through a dangerous, difficult or weird situation in our heads in a safe and "real" way. For example if you were married but had feelings for another man then a dream is the only place to work out what to do without causing trouble.
Secondly dreams act as a great way for us to work on problems with ourselves. In your case it sounds like in waking life you feel, or are, fighting off negative advances. For example if a job loss was looming over you, or a bad illness or family conflict etc.. then the dream is your brain's way of carrying on that fight. Dreams are metaphors, and often fairly deep in their meanings but if you are fighting in your dreams and they are reoccurring dreams then i would ghuess you are fighting in normal life and it is that which you need to address.

maybe this is a message for you to grow stronger in your light so that you no longer have to fight on their level. This means feeling lighter or liter emotions. Spiritual baths can strongly effect your emotional body and astral or dream body. A simple bath with lots of good smelling flowers and the grated peels of citrus fruits helps to lift the emotions. So does carrying stones like rose quartz and amethyst. Another great technique is forgiving everyone, especially yourself for anything you may blame them for or feel guilt and shame about. you could also invoke a patron saint or spirit you personally connect with before you sleep. to do this, just think about this person for a couple of minutes and how they make you feel. just feel how much you love them and they love you. common saints are st francis of assisi and mother mary or you can think about Gaia, spirit of Earth or the spirit of a loving tree.
You are either for Life or against It. There is no in between.
I used to believe in god above. Now I'm filled with so much love.-Erykah Badu after the invocation of the Goddess
May the love that holds eternity at its fingertips kiss each and everyone one you on the lips. May your words bring worlds that bring hope to a world dying to be reborn.

It also could be a sign of stress. I don't know if you're going through any stress right now. But, I have dreams sometimes like that and it's when I go to bed stressed out of my mind, or sometimes I don't even realize I'm THAT stressed.
Try putting some lavender in your room. It sets a calming mood. Also, Rose Quartz is good to have with you. (:
Maybe even try before going to sleep take a nice calming bath. Put sea salt & some lavender oil, and just try and relax.
I hope this helps you.
Blessings.

Re: always fighting
This may not be relevant but I didn't dream with any kind of regularity for years, I was diagnosed with a thyroid imbalance a few months ago and since the diagnosis and treatment I have started dreaming again. Unfortunately the first six weeks were almost all nightmares. They've settled down now but for awhile there it was suckville, basically what I'm saying is there may be a very physical reason you're having so many terrible dreams. You may wish to schedule a physical exam.
This is what I am, here is where I remove my mask.

ScarletRose, you could be quite right, I do have a lot in my life going on at the present. I have a few lavender candles and a balm I use but this like everything still doesn't always work:(. Thanks for the advice though.
Asch, I will have a full medical in the New Year, like you say just to be on the safe side.

Re: always fighting
I hope my advice works! Actually, lately I've been having dreams where I am just screaming at old friends that have pissed me off or just screaming at my mom. It's terrible! I'm at a stressful point it my life though. My mom actually pointed that out that it was stress related when I didn't really realize it! I just try and meditate while I'm laying in my bed before sleeping and picturing a river of water flowing through my body and peace flowing.. Just meditating. It helps a little (:
Blessings to you.
