Does anyone have a life, just as sucky as mine?

Teenagers are a special bunch with concerns different than adults. Teens can chat with each other here and learn from one another.

I stumbled across this and I have to say that I can relate. At a very young age I had been sexually abused and been treated very badly. My father had never cared about me and my mom was hardly around because she was too busy working. My dad used to try abandoning me and my sister in store and still- 14 years later, refers to me as 'that thing'. I lived in a very upperclass area up until two years ago where nobody liked me. When I was 12, I started blaming myself for everything that my father (and everyone else) had done to me. I resorted to cutting, drinking and smoking (I still smoke and occationally drink). That winter, I had emotionally hit rock bottom and made my first suicide attempt via slitting my wrists and overdoseing. I passed out on the floor and woke up a few hours later. I had always had higher psychic abilities, but it escalated severely after this point. In January, I had watched one of my friends get killed. I had turned my life around. Last year I had lost someone who was the father that I never had due to Cocaine related heart problems. The school had actually brought in a professional counciler to talk to me. Naturally I've had relationship problems thrown into the mix as well.
The best advice I can give:
1) Dont' expect good things. I've been much happier this way. No hope = No fear
2) Learn to let go of things. Spells can help assist in this.

The only thing I can add about here is about the ADHD, which I have, too. people with ADHD are really creative and really smart, so DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE!!! If you feel like you are being used, just start a tantrum, like scream at them. they'll feel bad. Maybe try to find a spirit lifter spell, for the depressioin, and during a waning moon, do a spell to get rid of your addiction. I fyou feel tired, or distracted meditate. during class, talk to your teacher, and tell her everything that is going on during class. Teachers are ALWAYS happy to help. TRUST ME! that's why they are teachers.

Hang in there please, all of you. My best friend is going though the same kind of things as you, her family sucks and she cuts herself a lot. She even attempted suicide a bunch of times. She means so much to me, though, more than she realizes, and I don't know what I'd do if she died. All of you have people who care about you too, and you mean the world to them, even if it doesn't seem like it to you right now.

Well, quitting cutting is like quitting smoking COLD TURKEY! It's hard! Trust me....But try to stop! Or start yelling BACK at your mothers husband! That's what I did! You NEED to stand up for yourself!! He probably thinks you are scared to stick up TO him, DON'T be! If you stick up for yourself, it may be a LOT easier to keep sticking up for yourself! And you really DONT know how much you love somebody, or how precious someone/something is until it's gone.............I learnt from experiance! But stop the pills, try to stop smoking and cutting!
Blessed Be!

Tell your friend that if she ever needs a place to escape to, she can come to your house any time.
