Almost scary/creepy dream?

Postby Kei Kawazu » Wed Mar 02, 2011 8:25 am

well i assume it was a dream but it could have been a spirit, basically i saw in my room for a little bit a being that looked like a semi transparent shadow and its eyes were glowing in a + shape with each eye like glowing ridiculously like if its eye was an inch long then it'd be about 6 inches in each direction the light from its eyes, and the light from my room i saw a red layer of light in the entire area really quickly, like if some beam were covering the entire room and when that occured the being was gone, and i remember it a little fuzzily. I wasnt really afraid when it happened just observing, but the afterthought of it was that it was a little scary. and the whole thing didnt last very long. it maybe lasted 5 seconds or something? i wasnt fully concious either. I tried to lucid dream again tonight but my focusing on lucid dreaming caused it to not really happen. i did have another dream though i think but by now i forgot it. I tried the same things that i thought caused me to lucid dream from the day before but then i ended up just having that wierd dream. and lately ive been waking up in the middle of the night a few times, even when it was the lucid dream night.

I guess i'm improving because i dont think ive had a dream like that before at all. maybe when i was a little kid but then i wouldnt remember it.

Any thoughts about it?

So many weird things can happen when you're in that state between sleeping and being awake. I usually don't take those things too seriously, but it does bother me sometimes and I wonder if all of it is real, or if I'm just crazy, or what? As far as I know, there is no certain answer. I've read hundreds of books about spirituality and at least 25 books just on astral projection alone, but it's still hard for me to really believe that all these people (the authors) aren't just dreaming and/or hallucinating.

If you keep your body very still, you can go into sleep paralysis (body asleep and frozen, mind awake) while you still seem to be fully conscious. But even though you feel awake, you are still capable of dreaming, only your dreams will be seem to be occurring in real life in your bedroom. It's totally weird, but my guess is that most of those things are dreams. But honestly, I'm just as confused as anyone else as to whether spirits and/or aliens exist or if the people who see them are hallucinating or dreaming. I wish I knew for sure.

If stuff like that is happening, then yes, you are improving your lucid dreaming/astral projection skills.
