If you do a spell incorrectly does the Goddess get angry?

Postby mellierae2002 » Mon Mar 14, 2011 9:59 pm

Hi,

I'm very new to Wicca. Actually, I did a little in high school but am just now looking more deeply into it. My question is when you're casting a spell and you don't do it correctly (say you don't cast the circle right or say the wrong thing or get interrupted at the wrond moment etc) will the Goddess get angry with you?

This must sound really silly but this was a big reason I backed off from Wicca in high school. I had bought a spell book and I started casting spells without reading it the whole book. So I thought there will be some bad reprucusions. Since at this point nothing very bad has happened to me that probably answers my question right there but I wanted to ask just to make sure. I would also like to know if there's any mistakes that I should avoid while doing a spell or ritual. I just want to do this right.

Thank you!! :D

Welcome :)
And no she wont, the mother goddess is just that our mother. Doesn't mean the fates don't have a silly sense of humour and can mess up your spell if you don't make your intent clear, but the goddess would never get angry at you <3

Bless and hope it helped
