I would like to know which stone/crystal is associated with the Wiccan Goddess, I want to find one and carry it with me so I can be connected with her!

well of course we have the three main aspects of goddess maiden mother and crone but there is also a fourth aspect of goddess in celtic culture which is the warrior aspect which can be embodied in all of the 3 main aspects of goddess. There are also stones associated with each individual goddess for example the Goddess Selene would obviously be associated with moonstone. Which goddess in particular are you talking about.

The Wiccan Goddess, I'm reffering to the Goddess and The God, the two main deities of the Wiccan tradition, as far as I know she doesn't have a name, she is just the Goddess...but thanks for the above I think Moonstone is the most appropriate...

Although it is true that you can refer to the god and the goddess by just calling them the god and the goddess. Wicca is based upon pre-christian western European pagan traditions. This includes the recogniztion and honouring of specific gods and goddesses associated with the pantheon of the people. Hera is just as much a wiccan goddess as Brigit is or Hela is or Baba Yaga or Kali. To simply refer to divinity as Goddess is just acknowledging the femine part of what makes up "GOD". The act of calling upon "GOD" by certain names such as Hera or Zeus or Kali or Vishnu are a means of connecting with a certain aspect of "GOD" specifically. Basically what I am saying is ALL GODDESSS are "Wiccan" Goddesses and ALL GODS are "Wiccan Gods"

The actual word Wicca comes from England where the Wicca or the Wicce were advisors to the monarchy. The word actually means wise ones. They were spiritual leaders of the old pagan ways. SO if you really wanted to be techinical and base the goddesses on this narrow section of paganism then a Wiccan Goddess would be of Celtic England such as Rhiannon, Epona, Cerridwen etc.

Wicca however being a religion that is based out of the practices of "witches" from England has grown and evolved over the past 50 plus years to emcompass all pagan poytheistic faiths to come together under one main tenet which is An it harm none, Do what ye wilt.

With this acceptance of the "Wiccan Tenant" the calling upon "GOD" by any name that is culturally specif to any region is acceptable. As the religion of Wicca is no long specifically in relation to the practices of Pagan England but now the recognition of dualtity in nature and the honor and reverence of the cycles of life death and rebirth as seen throughout all the world in the wheel of the year.

"Wicca" was created by Dr. Gerald Gardner in the 20th Century. It is not an ancient practice. Many of its beliefs, practices, and customs stem from ancient pagan beliefs and traditions of Pre-Christian England as were allegedly passed down to Gerald Gardner from his High Priestess. The Actual Relgion of Wicca is allegedly based off of the teachings received by Gardner from his High Priestess wherein he devised his own form of practice which is called Gardnerian WItchcraft which is the first and could arguably be called the only Wiccan Path. After Garderian Wicca was established other forms of modern paganism evolved such as Alexandrian and such.

The last law against Witchcraft was repealed in 1951 in England which made it possible for people to come out of the "SHADOWS" and make their own personal belief system known to the world. All "Wiccan" paths have one thing in common and that is the Wiccan Rede which was the tenat outlined by Gerald Gardner for the practice of Modern Pagan WItchcraft.

It is my understanding of Gardnerian WItchcraft that Aradia and Cerrnunnous were the deities that were invoked. So Technincally Aradia would be the "Wiccan Goddess".

Being Wiccan is about being at peace and harmony with nature and the world around you. It is about honouring the changing of the seasons and seeing the duality in nature putting not one gender over another. Seeing all as equal and just as valid and necessary to the survival of the world and humaninty. It is about doing and living freely so long as it doesnt encrouch upon the free will or rights of another person, being, entity etc.

It is through this modern way of thinking that "Wicca" has been able to spread and be accepted throughout the world and the ability to call upon deity in a name that is comfortable to you or suiting of your region so long as you live your life in a manner that is in correlation to the Wiccan Rede. It is the incorporation of the "Wiccan Rede" into your spiritual beliefs and daily living that allows one to call themself Wiccan. OTHERWISE your just a regular ol pagan person and there isnt anything wrong with that either.

I do recall you saying that you were going to hex those people about the animals that were being killed for fun. How could you rightly call yourself Wiccan when that would be strictly in violation of the one rule that makes one wiccan.

A true Wiccan could not retaliate in that manner and still be a wiccan because it goes against the core beliefs of the Wiccan Faith.

I am not a Wiccan. I am just pagan. I am very educated on many forms of paganism and have over 20 years experience on the subject. I think you really need to learn what about what it is you are calling yourself before you keep calling yourself something. I dont want to hurt your feelings but you dont know anything about what your talking about.

I think it is great that you want to honour the gods. I wish more people would. You are a smart young man but you seem to be really confused as to which way is really up.

If you want to just call upon "GOD" as God and Goddess then that is fine too. You DONT HAVE to call upon gods by a specific name it is your choice. BUT please dont go around thinking that the "Wiccan" Goddess doesnt have a name because she does. You are free to call yourself Wiccan so long as you follow the Wiccan Rede.

Should you want to be so vague to call upon deity as just the goddess and god then finding a stone suitable for that is very easy. Obviously the Goddess is representative of the moon and the God of the Sun, masculine and feminine, night and day...notice the duality. SO with that in mind "Goddess" is repesented by MOONSTONE and GOD by SUNSTONE

No thanks for saying it, I thought that Goddess didn't had a name, I thought that by just calling her "Goddess" is enough, but now that you saying it, I would like to read more about Aradia, because the Goddess I worship, its not that I worship her, its that I feel so connected, I know she is out there, I know it, I can feel it! so I think that I must look deeper in me to find out who I'm worshiping! thanks Symandinome, I feel like a fool now, three and a half years and I didn't know that a Goddess must be specific

By the way, I'm NOT a Wiccan, I don't follow Wicca, I'm a Witch that worships the Goddess, it might be hard to understand my path, but I'm for sure not a Wiccan...

Plus to be honest I disagree with that "harmony" Wiccans believe, I disagree with "Harm to none do what you will", when I feel like I should act, I act, if I feel its wrong to act, then I don't act, I trust my gut and insticts and I know when its right to attack or not...

Ok well I'm glad you didnt get offended and you took the time to explain yourself a little more to me. I thought you were Wiccan because you kept saying the "Wiccan Goddess". I am just a plain ol witch myself. Granted I am traditionally trained in faery faith but I am just a witch also. I do not follow the Wiccan Rede but I do try to live my life peacefully with everyone and everything but I will also use "negative" forms of magick if I deem the situation worthy.

Aradia is an interesting choice for a Goddess. She comes from Etruscan Mythology. Which is from Italy. She is the patron goddess of the Stregheria or Italian WItches and she is the Daughter of the Goddess Diana and Lucifer is her father. * do not confuse this Lucifer with the Lucifer in Christianity*

Like I said before there is nothing wrong with just refering to deity as goddess and god without specific names its perfectly acceptable. For the most part though, pagan people, call upon deities by ancient names such as your greek ancestors would have done with the Gods of Olympus.

In essence all gods are one and the same its only the names that change depending upon the region. Zeus is no different then Jupiter or Dagda they are all just differnet names refering to the same aspect of "GOD". The fact that you are in Greece and have access to so many sacred sites is awe inspiring to me. I am very jealous!!! You have an ability to go and connect with a part of our pagan history that many only can dream about. Please dont take your Greek Heritage for granted. The Greeks were and are a truley great and magickal people!
