Do you need to worship an actual God?

I was just wonsering if (as a wiccan) do I need to actually worship God? I mean if you have a goddess of light will she be okay? Or do we have to worship both?

No matter your path, it is not required to worship a deity/deities. That choice is yours in how you wish to act upon your spirituality. Yes Wiccans generally have the Goddess as the main deity and her counter part as the lesser but that is up to you.

In general, there's a Goddess and a God to represent the masculine and feminine of the divine. So I mean, I don't think you have to, but a lot of people find it's a more balanced way. If you're comfortable with just a Goddess, then go for it! It's just as valid as anything else.

Please don't totally deny a god, Keep your mind open. If at this time no God speaks to you don't worry, maybe someday he will or you will find that you don't need him; I would not totally reject him if he came a' knocking though.

Oh No I will not deny and God or Goddess who I feel connected or associated to. If they r my Godd/ess I will worship them no matter the gender
