It's not life or death, but my beloved dog who is my other half pulled one of his toenails off at some point. Thing is, the little guy is such a tough-guy, he doesn't express pain unless it's immediate, so he has a high pain threshold. I didn't even know it had been pulled until I noticed him licking it extensively while lying down. We're going to take him in the vet first thing in the morning to have it looked at/medicated/wrapped.
Again, it's not a major health concern, but I hate seeing my little friend in pain, so any positive thoughts you could send to help him deal with the pain while healing would be appreciated. Humans, after all, are not the only beings to feel pain.
