Hey hope this is the right place to put this post (if not, terribly sorry) but I was wondering if you guys know any sleep chance or maybe calming chants to help me get to sleep? Or maybe any other kind of advice to help me sleep. I find it really difficult to sleep at night (in the day I don't have a problem though) so please, if you have any good chants or tips to get to sleep please let me know!

I could use some sleep chants too. Insomnia is no fun.

Alina, you need to re-set your clock. If you are napping a lot in the day, then it will be hard to sleep at night. Have you tried to get outside yet? If you could get a little exercise in the day, and resist sleeping in the day you may get better rest at night. there are some homeopathic remedies that may help some too. And defiantly no caffeinated drinks about 4-6 hours before bed.
As far a sleep chant...I would recommend classical music...here's a great one

Classical music has the ability to heal our brains, and to get both sides working together.

Sleep chants?
Thanks firebird, I have re-set my clock and even if I stay awake all day, even though I'm exhausted I find that in the night I find new energy and I'm not tired. I have tried listening to nature sounds (an app on my iPod) but it doesn't really help in sleep, it does seems to settle me down as I am somewhat high strung at night... Again for reasons unknown.

I can relate very much to the new energy at night. My husband used to say the sun is going down ...are you waking up?
It may take weeks and possibly months to really get your internal clock ticking in tune. Exercise will help more than you think. Do you dance? This is a great way to get physical without leaving the house....and about the caffeinated drinks??? do you partake in those? Again ...I suggest you go to your local health food store and see what homeopathics they have for sleep. I use one called Moon Drops. The other thing that may be wrecking your sleep is hormones, women have a different set of issues relating to sleep because of our hormones. I remember when I was 15,16, 17, 18, 19...I didn't sleep well then either. Then again at menopause, I think I was awake for about 4 years...it was miserable.
Wishing you well...
I leave my radio on classical music at night, started that when I was about 17, it helped a lot.
Here is another bit of music...

Re: Sleep chants?
Thats great advice
thank you so much I will do my best. I really like the Beethoven one you put up, truly beautiful. I am 17 so yes.. I think it might be the hormones then again I have always been this way since I was 9... I think it may be psychological seeming I wasn't allowed to sleep at night.... Interesting story lol... I might look into natural sleeping tablets. AT the moment im trying to sleep with a moonstone and an amethyst above my bed.. Only started two days ago so not quite sure.. Seems to be giving me some pretty wacky dreams though (can't remember them now probably should of written it down so I could put it on my sleep journal thing in the forum).
