I find it strange that simplicity works best

All of my spells that I have made and done with success were all done with 1 white candle, olive oil, water, and paper(if needed). I just meditate on the intention and keep thinking about it as I go to bed.I normally do it when i'm overly exhausted too( which I wouldn't recommend because I feel zombifyed afterwards literally sick) But I just feel it works better when the spell is the last thing on your mind before your thoughts roam freely, rather than going on with other chores or activities. It always works best that way for me. No matter how simple or complex. Then when I started getting all crafty with multiple colored candles and long chanting, even adding extra ingredients...those ones never worked. Now I just stick to short and sweet with minimal materials. Mind you I find it strange that this works considering my level of experience and knowledge. Anyone the same?

I can relate to this. Making a spell work powerfully through simple ways is what I believe you can call being advanced. You're in contact with your higher power, which is great. Being crafty and all is not for everyone. I noticed when I suddenly wanted to increase ingredients and stuff... I had to work more to make anything happen. Supposed to make me focus and relate better, it rather seems to distract me from my goal. Usually I get what I want by almost not knowing at all what I wished for. When I wish for something subcounsciously things come my way. At the moment I'm not including much material, and have started to research timing more. Lately I've ignored it, but have gotten a sudden intresest in the phases of the moon once again. I remember back in the days when I did a spell during a full moon, it worked incredibly fast.

One can read all the books they want...
but when it comes time to preform a spell
the best ones(IMHO) is the ones done on
the spur of the moment ! Just be careful
with which words you use !

Agreed MsMollimizz... I've not specified and ended up with chaos before. I was just saying to North Star... Even the phrase 'remove negativity' can be potent.... And result in entire people and things being removed!
