The first thing that was odd in this dream was that I knew I was dreaming. I normally don't experience lucid dreaming.
In my dream I met a man and after meeting him, I saw things through his eyes. He was older than me, but we were somehow friends (I think co-worker or something). Surprisingly, I told him of my practising the Craft, which I never tell anyone I do not really and truly trust. He then told me that he was a Solitary as well, but with loose connections to a Coven. As the dream progressed, I continued to see things through his eyes, even when I departed. He became a sort of mentor to me and was trying to emulate his mentor, who he had worked with when he lived in Seattle.
I normally do not dream of spiritual/religious events and whenever I remember a dream after I wake up, it usually has very significant meaning (even if I don't realise that until after the event has passed). Any help?

Well it appears that guidance is upon you. I think it is your "ANIMUS" or spirit guide coming to you in older male form. You are opening up to many wonderful things and the dream could be telling you that you are on the right path. It is interesting that Seattle came up. This is West from your location; thus, perhaps the dream is trying to get you attune to the arcangle Gabriel. Or, perhaps the West has other connotations in your psychic landscape. Due west is ruled by Libra and the dream may represent a new kind of partnership being forged. Thus, Venus and Libra are trying to harmonize you with your your soul star, or essential light that exists both above and below you, both inside and out. Help and guidance are imminent. Be sure to thank the light for the wonderful news this dream is offering you.
Well, that's one interpretation. I am sure there are tons of other possibilities too, but I would strongly agree that this is a dream of hope and help.

Ok, eerieness. Because I am hopelessly devoted to research, I checked out Gabriel on the Catholic Patron Saints Index Online (like I said, hopeless) and one of the things Gabriel is the patron of is... Seattle. (And patron of mediacommunications. Ooh.)
