Bast correspondences
Bast correspondences
Iv chosen bast as my patron and I'm gathering all her correspondences. Does any one know what incense corresponds to her?
Re: Bast correspondences
my first thought was civet, but you can't (or shouldn't) be getting it anymore.
I'll look around.

It is Lily of the Valley, found a great website too where I found the answer has all the deities and their various correspondences http://onespiritx.tripod.com/gods42.htm
Re: Bast correspondences
That link didn't seem very convincing, I found this one so far http://www.goddessgift.com/goddess-myth ... s_Bast.htm I'll try to collaborate the list but if I can't find any accuracy I'll just use frankincense

Re: Bast correspondences
The Festival of Bast is on March 4th & 5th. Offerings of catnip and vervain are most recommended but most Egyptian deities like ale, milk, honey, bread, eggs, dark chocolate (Anubis & Nepthys), or wine. Bastet Oil recipe: 4drops frankincense, 2 myrrh, 1 cedar oil, 1 part catnip herb,1/2 drop juniper oil, 3 parts acacia gum or Arabic gum, 1 drop cinnamon oil, 2 parts cypress or civet oil. I think this recipe is original from the book "The Circle of Isis" by Ellen Canon Reed.
