You are right klia. There's a lot of daily practices now that I just recently add and do. Like, visualizing in my daily meditations the "greatness" I will feel when I master gratitude. This makes me more happy and positive in life. I also visualize myself as being a person surrounded by grateful energies and fervently upgrading his level of gratitude. This visualization of self-image creates me. I am grateful for all that I can be grateful for. Those who are lacking happiness (emotional and spiritual) wonder about what is the missing ingredient. When one does meditate on this, he/she will easily recognize that the missing ingredient was: Gratitude.
In every activities I do whether spiritual, magickal or mundane, I always think, speak, and act like a grateful person does. When I consistently do these three things, I feel I'm being consistently grateful.
And when this kind of attitude, I became more mindful and keep on noticing what I am looking for. This is like someone who loves flowers and birds notices them even though others would just ignore and pass them by. Or someone who hates dirt and dust will see them rather than seeing the birds and the flowers. So considering the importance of gratefulness makes me more mindful of more and more kind things that others do for me. These serve as reminder for me to do similar things for others.
I also keep a gratitude journal. To me, writing down what I am grateful for in a notebook will have a much stronger effect. Seeing the items adding up on paper, gives me an ever-increasing realization that I have much for which to be thankful and joyful. And this feeling, I believe is the most important feeling behind every spells and charms, I'm crafting and casting together with love. This what makes my magick more potent. Love and gratitude to the Universe, Nature and to the Divine. By sending gratitude and love out, we in turn receive it back along with our desires that we've spell-casted or charm-crafted for.

I love my gratitude journal. Having that Attitude of Gratitude is helped me pull out of a funk numerous times. Its very humbling when you stop and take the time to be grateful for every thing you do have.
Ive taken more time daily to just listen, observe, and look beyond this middle world that we are walk around in everyday. Noticing the small things as I come across, and taking them in with a sense of newness and wonder.
I did an amazing meditation yesterday that I would love to do on a regular basis.
Another thing I need to start doing on a regular basis is Reiki on myself or others. I dont use this gift nearly as much as I should. Im going to start that today, even 5-10 minutes a day of self Reiki healing will be magickal.

Re: Daily Practices
I am totally new to this...but, since my family and where I live isn't exactly private and I have yet to be able to find a comfortable place to hold a circle (although, now since summer is coming I have been thinking of going down to the beach at night and maybe doing a little something then) I haven't been able to do much. So, in my own head, I try to say good morning to the God, the spark of life, the energy that wakes us in the morning and the strength to get through the day. At night, before I slip off to sleep I am usually slip into deep thought (or meditation, I guess you could say) and visualize going forward and progressing with whatever it is I want to succeed at. I then say Good night to the Goddess and thank her for her love and lessons she has taught me that day. I ask her and the God to help me nurture my abilities and strengths and help me work towards my goals. Some days I don't always do this and I feel I need to keep pushing to pause and do it.

Re: Daily Practices
Well, I'd have to say my daily practice thus far is this:
I wake up, and make sure my altar is looking nice and taken care of. Then I will just on and off talk with my God through out the day. At night, I do tarot readings and when I feel the need to, I ground myself and put up a protective barrier to ensure nothing gets in. I'm extremely empathic and this has become a daily must!
At night, I sit at my altar and speak with Loki as well as give him offerings and I've taken to doing a candle spell a week now it seems. I also do meditation when I'm not too tired, otherwise I'll fall asleep! Haha!
I'm trying to go outside, and I also collect anything natural I find to leave as an offering for the fey.
That's all that comes to mind at the moment.

Re: Daily Practices
I am the same, sometimes I don't know if it is my mind playing tricks sometimes but if weird energies show up I get a heightened form of anxiety for some reason....never mind being in a room full of unspoken tension! Like, just tonight one of our neighbors must of got into a fight with her BF and he must have tried to leave her because all I could hear and feel is her sorrow and it made me relate to how I would feel if my fiancé tried to leave. Sometimes I love this gift, and other times I wish I could just turn it off cuz all I want to do is try to help even if it is none of my business or anything that I could do... do you have any specific ways of grounding or things you say to help protect you from uninvited energies?I ground myself and put up a protective barrier to ensure nothing gets in. I'm extremely empathic and this has become a daily must!

Oh, yes, I know how that feels. ): I only just started grounding a year ago, and it's done wonders! I was taught to imagine myself as a tree and rooting into the ground, then pulling up my element in and around me. However, it's now changed because my God, Loki, steps in and offers me his golden-reddish yellow flame that protects me. I don't have to do too much usually, because he's usually stepping in to help. I don't ever really say anything, for me it's more visual than anything. (:

Re: Daily Practices
I'm excited. I got a list of new things to add to my daily practices today when I got my actual first lesson in the Feri tradition or Feri style witchcraft. I have some breathing techniques to learn, some prayers, and some chakra work to do as part of this first lesson. Its going to be a lot of work, but again I am excited for it.
