Finding out../new?

Hello everyone, I'm really new to all this but it's something I want to get into. How does one know who their God/Goddess are? Like I said I am really new to this, I don't know how to lucid dream or really even meditate..I have a idea of who might be but not sure if they are or not, just picked ones that sounded right.

Welcome! I wouldn't panic over making the "right" choice right now. In the beginning of a journey like this, your view about yourself can change rapidly, and the God or Goddess right for you can change along with it. Eventually, most people find a more long term patron or patroness (matron?) But that doesn't even happen to everyone. Take time to explore and discover different deities, and don't panic over it yet he/she (or they) will reveal themselves to you when they're ready, and when you are
