Can you explain the god and goddess to me
I would like more information on the gods and goddesses. Like what their role is in Wicca and where I may look for them, and how they are present in our every day life. And how I may connectwith them.

Hi mangosandy!
Different people are going to likely tell you different things about deities, their roles, and how to connect with them, and like myself, most can only speak from personal experience and research.
I was a Wiccan for several years before my path took me in a different direction, but for me, the role of the God and Goddess was a representation of the balance necessary for a healthy existence, spiritually and physically, as well as the balance of the universal force that some Wiccans refer to as 'the all' or 'the source' (my view has changed a bit since then, but that was one I held at the time). Others may view deities as actual existing individuals with personalities, personal tastes, and connections to the forces of nature. At their core, however, I think the gods are focal points for us to better learn to become more attuned to the earth, and on a larger scale, the universe and its energy. When someone forms a deep connection with one, I think that in many ways, its the channel through which they can further their efforts to achieve that resonance.
Connecting with deities is a highly personal experience, one that everyone approaches in a slightly different way. For me, it started through meditation (and still does) and branched into other areas of my practice. I leave offerings as often as I can. They can make themselves known in a variety of ways, such as animals sacred to them appearing, a shift in the wind that catches your attention, a cloud formation, a whispered word in the back of your mind...The most intimate, and essential, way that the gods become more present in our day to day life is through prayer. It doesn't have to be formal (I myself just talk out loud or in my head like I'm having a conversation with someone), or it can be if that helps you feel more at ease speaking to them.
I would highly recommend that you check out this thread on how individual witches have worked with their deities if you'd like to know more about the subject.

Look up duality, opposites. Lying Yang. Positive/negative ect. Sure its related. Look up basics of alchemy too. I'm sure alchemy and Wicca can be linked together.
