Dream and Interpretation

So I've been having odd dreams since I was 11. And they've always been terrifying. Instead of giving you several narrative I'll give brief description. I'm not really asking for interpretation so much as I want to know if I'm alone in this. I've had a total of 5 dreams like this with the most recent being last night. I'll give you them in order, well the order I recall them in.

The first one I had was at age 11: I dreamed that all my family were in the house and the house flooded. We were on a couch and I just felt the overwhelming sense that we were trapped and I couldn't defend them. Then a serpent began circling us in the water and killing us off one by one. I tried to wake myself but couldn't, I was trapped in the dream, when I looked into the serpent's eyes my body froze and I was paralyzed. When I finally woke up I ran to my mom and apparently she'd dreamed I had died and she couldn't wake me. That morning the news announced Steve Irwin had died at sea.

The next dream happened a few years ago: I dreamed I was a bird, dunno really the type since I literally dreamed I was the bird. I was flying through the air and felt free. It was a peaceful dream and when I woke I felt at peace with everything in the world. I later learned that my aunt had died in her sleep, however 24 hours later she inexplicably revived and no one knows how.

The next dream I had was only a few months ago: I dreamed I was in the forest in my backyard frozen in the spot. Dread came over me and saw the Grim walk from the trees and stare at me. My eyes were locked on his and I couldn't blink. Suddenly he barked twice and then turned and left. When I woke I felt so sick I couldn't get up. In the course of two months I lost two loved ones.

I've had two dreams recently the one I had last week was that I was watching two praying mantises fighting. One was the color of spring grass, the other was the color of Autumn red. The one that was red killed the one that was green and then a raven ate the one that was red. That afternoon I found out one of my professors was out sick and was likely not to return.

The one I had last night though concerns me the most. I was once again in my backyard. Frozen to the ground. This time though it wasn't the Grim I saw. It was a black unicorn the unicorn approached me and touched my chest with it's horn then looked at me with sad eyes before turning and fleeing into the forest.

Am I the only one having dreams like this? And as the common theme is when these dreams happen people I know tend to die/nearly die am I just overreacting are these more than just dreams. I'd really like input. Or even just suggestions on how to look at these dreams. Am I the only one this is happening to, or has anyone else experienced this?
