Asking the Goddess
Would it be absurd to pray to my Goddess and ask her to help me with my (incredible) fear of public speaking?
Re: Asking the Goddess
I don't think so at all. Our deities are there for a reason, some who have goals for you, others who come because you called and there is nothing wrong with calling to your deity for strength. I sometimes will even ask Ra and Thoth to help me get through a night at my job if I feel I may need the extra help. :]

Re: Asking the Goddess
I think that's a great idea. I wish I had thought of that when I was in school. I would write so well in school that I'd get picked to read in front of crowds for different things like elementary school graduation and graduation from the DARE program. I had a class in high school that drove me nuts because I had to read my journal entries out loud every day. It was supposed to be voluntary, but why the heck did I have to be the exception?
It's OK to ask for help with things that we may feel is absurd. I ask Them to make it seem like time flies when I'm washing dishes.

Yeah, I would have hated to read to the class every day, how did you do it? haha.
All I need to do now is to figure out how to ask
