Nica_13 Makes an Introduction

Greetings,

As a new member of this fantastic site, I thought it would be wise to properly introduce myself. My name is Nicallette (Nick-kah-let), however, Nica (Nick-kah) is also acceptable. I'm currently twenety-one, although my birthday is the 23rd of November. I live in America, I'm also blessed to call the mountains and forests my home. I have a seven year old, St Bernard, puppy named Hercules and a one year old, Himalayan-Ragdoll, kitty named Loki as my companions. I'm studying to become a Special Effects Cosmetologist and writing is my passion in life.

I do not consider myself religious, therefore I'm not a Wiccan. However, I've always felt strongly connected to this beautiful Earth and her elements. I've studied Egyptian and Greek Mythology with tremendous dedication since my childhood. As a result, I'm spiritual. I believe in the supernatural forces of Nature. I'm devoted to sustaining balance among the elements, animals and humans. I practice spiritual worship of the Earth, similar to Wicca. I try to live by the Wiccan rede and Law of Three, as I have before evening discovering Wiccan culture.

I look to the Gods and Goddess as fictional creations that serve as elemental personifications so that humans can comprehend the majesty of the unknown. The deities I chose to honor are Demeter, the Goddess of Harvest, Persephone, the Goddess of the Seasons, Selene, Goddess of the Moon, Nyx, Goddexs of the Night and Hades, God of Death. These deities have teachings written in their myths and I find comfort in them.

I hope to make friends here and gain acceptance among the community. Thank you.
