Confused

I believe in Jesus. I also believe in reiki. I also know how wonderful I felt in my first New Moon ceremony. I also believe in the power of the mind and that the mind can heal and change your life. I believe in spell craft and what it can do even though I am not ready to explore that avenue since I do not know myself well enough. What am I? Just a nut or headed to a new life?

Hi jjgrask, I have similar confusing beliefs and am not sure where I will land when I learn everything that I can. It might help you to explore the forum on here called "Christian witches" it is underneath the category: types of witchcraft inside the category paganism, witchcraft and Wicca. I almost which the title read paganism, witchcraft, Wicca and other religions because it isn't easy to find info in Christian witchcraft or Christio paganism on this forum into you've search each forum. (And I apologize, I don't know forum "lingo" so I'm not sure what to call these "categories")

Lastly, you may also want to research gnostism. It does connect Christians and magic. I learned about it before on my own when I was researching text that were left out of the bible that could have been out in there. I can across the term gnosticism again while look through the Christian witchcraft part of this forum and I am interested in continuing to learn about it. Good luck with your journey.

Confusion is a normal part of encountering a very powerful new path. I think every practitioner I've known personally, was raised Catholic. You go along just fine, then something smacks you upside the head, and voila. You've been redirected, and you're now on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. But Walt Disney is not your cruise director.

Take your time and explore this new path. It's less about religion, and more about spirituality.
