A reoccurring dream

Postby Ashalia » Sat Jan 03, 2015 1:21 am

The past two months, I have been having the same dream over and over again; however, it felt so real and the feeling was beyond amazing. Here's a brief description of what my dream entailed.

In this dream, I saw this white fox with blue eyes, on a Wintry setting. The fields and trees were covered with snow, this fox looked at me and gestured for me to follow him and so I did; however, I was running with him instead of after him. All of a sudden, I was a white fox too. We were both running over the snowy terrain and I was savoring the feel of Winter beneath my paws.

This dream has been happening every night and I wonder if I am being told something that I am just not seeing. It felt so real and when I woke up, my whole body felt as if I had just been on a work out. I really cannot help, but wonder whether it was more than just a dream, because I was conscious and I could remember it so vividly in detail after I awakened from my slumber.

I wish to know; have any of you had a dream like this?

I dream about animals often (mostly cats), but I don't recall ever becoming an animal in a dream. Maybe the fox is your spirit guide, or a totem animal, or represents aspects of yourself, or is a symbol for something else. What emotions do you feel before and after you turn into a fox? Are you doing anything after you turn into a fox? The fact that it's a recurring dream seems highly significant.

I feel so free when the shift happens, I feel content and there is that desire to explore the terrain. The main thing I end up doing when I shift is running and exploring my surroundings. I remember everything so vividly and I feel so alive in the dream. The other fox that appears in my dream is always there and I know it sounds odd, but it's like I can feel it's presence with me in the room where I reside. I feel as if it is watching over me.

A couple of nights before my friend Raymond aka Trickfox died, we danced together on the rooftops as foxes. It was amazing. In the Dreamtime, we're not limited to our current physical vessels. I would say your blue eyed arctic fox is most likely a spirit guide.

It sounds amazing, the feel of dancing together on the rooftops. I have heard that we are not limited to our physical vessels. I've heard about the theory of otherkins and I feel that is a possibility.

I cannot help, but wonder whether this is a memory from a past life, because everything feels so real. I've always had a strong connection to foxes and a few fox traits are prominent in me, personality wise, the yearn to play tricks on people and the fact that I have a huge phobia of dogs. I will hide behind my mother if a dog approaches and scream, I won't walk on the same side walk as a dog who is walking off leash. The vast majority of dogs I have come into close contact with will growl or bark at me in an aggressive manner, as if they sense something. I can see it in their eyes and I can feel what they are feeling.

I cannot help, but wonder whether this dream is revealing something about myself that I haven't known.

Ashalia,

I agree with SnowCat. It seems the blue-eyed white fox is your spirit guide. And your becoming a fox indicates this spiritual connection. I also think the details you give above are confirmation that the fox is your spirit guide. Do you keep a dream journal? I think that would help you gain more insight, as you can go back and review your dream details, ask questions, and see the clarifying bigger picture.
Best wishes to you!

Blessed Be,
