So many lives, So many people gone,
They will never have a name
for someone else to carry on.
Never will they understand
a sunrise or touch a snowflake
on their tongue.

Never will they have
children, for they themselves
are young.

They're the babies with a short
life to give. The children
without a childhood to live

They are the ones with HIV
and full blown AIDS,
hopefully there will be a cure
so these childrens lives we can
save.
