Can you return to a dream?

Postby Suhrt » Wed Apr 29, 2015 8:05 pm

I had a dream man years ago I can remember almost very clearly. I had always wanted to dream it all over again, and continue it if possible, is there any technique for achieving this?

I used to be in this one group for lucid dreaming, but you could do that only with dreams you had lucidly, after you learned to have lucid dreams.

I belive that its possible to do so, though i have a facility to relive dreams over period of time ( i day dream them almost to perfection while i do other things) i have a technique that i use to recall my dreams and i think you could use it to relive that dream.
Basically you need to tell youself over and over you will dream that dream again when you are near to faliing asleep ( you had lucid dreams so i think you will have an easy time trying this) when you are almost sleep and you feel your mind drift to the completely sleep level think of it harder.
At this state your mind accepts any other it recieves and will do it. I use this method to recall my dreams and it works for me so i hope it works for you.

I had these kinds of dreams very often back when I was younger. If I really wanted to continue the dream, I just told myself-you are going to continue the dream. It usually happened when I dreamt of something really exciting or pleasing.
But that diminished as my self confidence decreased. I think you just really need to convince yourself that you can do it :)

Well you are right in that statement. After all mind is the greatest weapons of them all. Also we ourselves are only limited by our mind and our thoughts. The power of a spell is based on the mind of the caster and the confidence of him/her in his/her own self. If you believe anything is possible then so it is.

Thank you. I tried it last night I remember when I felt so sleepy thinking about it but then guess I dozed off and can't remember anything else. I didn't have dream in question but I slept pleasantly which I hadn't in a sort of long time.
