Aphrodite Ideas

I've recently felt Aphrodite calling me strongly. I started feeling this draw on in June, honeymooning in Greece, and since I have returned I have made offerings to her in both personal and public rites where appropriate. I want to open this thread up to suggestions and ideas as to how I can grow closer to the foam-born goddess, eg specific practices, invocations, et cetera.

I should add that I'd also like this to be a place that I could hear about the experiences of other devotees to Aphrodite. Share your stories and talk about what it means to you to be bound to this particular deity.

Laurelei Black has written a few books you might find helpful, Cult of Aphrodite, and Aphrodite's Priestess. There is also a book called Devoted to You, by Judy Harrow, where four pagans talk about their experiences with their deities, and one of the four deities is Aphrodite. The Theoi article on Aphrodite is also a good resource for the historical information.
