If I Could Tell You

If I could tell you I loved you my heart would be whole
you would know what you mean to me within my soul
Life would be perfect,life would have meaning
for now I wander
my mind is screaming
Wondering why you went away
why you left me,why you couldnt stay?
An Angel told me in my dream
you were needed elsewhere
and now this I could see,
that you needed to help
and I had to let go
as much as it hurts
I dont let it show.
It is hidden inside,that is where it will stay
until we are together
I just wait
on that day.
I know I am selfish,and this I cant be
Others need your help,more than me.
Love will bring you home
I know in my heart
and from that day on we will never be apart!
