I have been practicing meditation for over a month now but never felt like i was doing it properly, or i gave up too soon out of frustration. I think my anxiety has something to do with it. But today i think i finally succeeded!
I lit a candle and put my crystals out infront of me. I held angelite in both hands (i feel the most drawn to them at the moment) and started focusing on the candle and my breathing. I eventually closed my eyes and after a while my body started to feel light, almost as if i was floating. I then started to see waves crashing at the ocean, but only briefly. This went on for a while alternating between seeing waves of the ocean and just weird shapes. I became concious of how slow my breathing and heartrate became. I felt calm and at ease. I eventually opened my eyes and i had the most strange sensation of feeling so light and airy, if that makes sense. I checked my phone and 35 minutes had passed but it only felt like 5.
Does this sound like i am doing it right? I cant wait to do it again tomorrow now. ☺
