Nocturnal Witch
So recently I picked up a book and the writer teachers a nocturnal approach to the craft. Using the moon and lunar energies. I was wondering if anyone has studied this or have found success. It seems like a good concept I suppose especially for me since I feel more comfortable in the night and under moonlight. Further guidance on this would be nice lol thanks .

Re: Nocturnal Witch
You're likely talking about Konstantinos, and his book Nocturnal Witchcraft.
Assuming that's true, you're onto a modern Craft classic and should absolutely stick with it. Paired with his Gothic Grimoire, it's some of the best ritual work you're going to come across and the author himself is uniquely gifted when it comes to magic and sorcery.
Go for it.

Thanks and yes I have both of his books and it comes natural I just wanted to hear someone else's perspective on it. Thanks for sharing .You're likely talking about Konstantinos, and his book Nocturnal Witchcraft.

Re: Nocturnal Witch
I read both when I was (much) younger. At the time, they were a good read and reinforced my obsession with the moon and the darker hours.
I won't say they shaped my path in a particularly major way, nor were his works my only go-to books or have resonated as well as other works I've read have. But I don't regret reading them at all and for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and understanding of the darker half of the day, I say read everything you can get your hands on - including these two books.
That being said, it's been awhile since I've read them and they've been on my "to re-read list" for awhile now.

Awesome resource. Thanks I will check it out.

The Goddess is associated with the Moon. The whole thing is Nocturnal.
Witches and Wiccans celebrate on the new Moon and cast according to the moon.
It could be said Witchcraft is inherently a nocturnal path.

Re: Nocturnal Witch
Konstantinos' works aren't really designed to do that, though. They're more designed to introduce you to different concepts, see if those work for you, and then give you a bedrock of understanding from which to move on from. His sections on gods and goddesses of night, for example, explicitly suggest that you move on and study more.I won't say they shaped my path in a particularly major way, nor were his works my only go-to books or have resonated as well as other works I've read have.
Ultimately, my love of Konstantinos comes from the fact that he clearly understands what makes magic work, and anyone reading his books will end up with a solid grasp as a result. The presentation is also clear, and unambiguous, which is part of his charm.
I'm a real fan, as you can probably tell!
Re: Nocturnal Witch
I'm glad someone is a Konstantanos fan. I have a couple of his kindle books to read, but too many people on the net hate him, so it's turned me off getting invested.

A lot less EMF flying around your head. Good time to do spell work, especially remote influencing-type work. I just really like my sleep, so it's the daytime for me, lol. But yeah, if you're a nocturnal soul, that's the best time (and not just due to less EMF, I was kind of kidding about that...kind of).So recently I picked up a book and the writer teachers a nocturnal approach to the craft. Using the moon and lunar energies. I was wondering if anyone has studied this or have found success. Oh and by the way, I noticed in your intro post you stated you liked writing poetry. Not sure if you noticed we have a forum here for that, feel free to share your work, if ever you feel so inclined: http://everythingunderthemoon.net/forum/poetry.html I meant to say that on your intro post thread, but I accidentally closed my account, and couldn't post. The board administrator just opened it for me again, haha.

Sorry it took awhile. I meant to come back to this thread earlier, but it slipped my mind with life things going on.
