Becks,

You be more noble and tolerant then I. I spent too many years in Asia delivering people and supplies to faith based refugee camps and have seen so much that curdles my blood. I would be in deep dodo should I talk about such on this forum so yes indeed Peace is the catch word my dear friend. Thank you.

I heard a saying in my youth that still guides me in my spirituality today. Ty's saying goes "Praying is used to TALK to God, while meditation is for LISTENING to God.

So I my humble opinion, you need both pieces to communicate fully with God. You need to pray, much like Christians, Jews, and Muslims, but you must also meditate like Hindus, Buddhists, and Wiccan/pagan/New Age religions and practices.

Rosie.

Shekinah-I can not EVEN imagine. Camobodia, Laos, and Vietnam? I have no clue compared to that experience, and I'm not even going to insult you and dare to try. What you saw was blood curdling? I don't doubt you for a second. Not a second.

In Cananda people were "praying" to "God" piously and doing unspeakable things in residential schools.....therefore, I dont doubt you.

In my experience there are dear people who work very deeply in all levels, in many faith systems, and there are the others that you speak of....again-sadly available in all forms of practice...some merely asleep...."sheople" and some far worse...though I have met a few frightening pagans.

What I can say is that I am so glad that it's are here, and I'm sure I have a lot to learn from your vast experience though space and time.

Thank you SO much! :)
