From a very young age I never believed there to be one God and often questioned Abraham religions (living next to a church was interesting.) I always felt a deep connection with energy and spirit, wanting to unravel the mysteries and magik of the universe.
I believe that karma and an equilibrium of good and bad are always contsant in life, as I have experienced many instances of both. I have always wanted to believe in a God/Gods (Goddesses especially) but felt a hard time when I would meditate and dream but nothing prevailed as an answer.
Through my recent research of Wicca I have already understood that the power comes from you, and the gods and goddesses merely lead and teach you. I think this will be a lovely journey for me as I come into womanhood and my full witch and energy is able to be controlled by me and only me.
I hope to chat with many of you, if anyone has any questions, or tips for a starting Wicca I would absolutely love to hear them. I expect to start my year and a day journey soon (I hope May 16th since I consider 6 to be a lucky and gift bringing number).
