I forgot to introduce myself before posting.
When I was a child the first thing I remember is having an incredible sense of timing, my situation called for me to need to know the time even though it should not have been my responsibility but then my dad was always one for aggravating my mum and getting me in trouble (separated when I was a baby, more serious issues I won't go into detail here) Anyway so I always correctly sensed the time when I did not have access to a clock or watch, it was weird.
As I was growing up my aunt was into crystals, auras and did her reiki training and would tell us about her learning and from the age of 11 I would have a go at seeing auras and playing with energy. She would buy me books and stuff on these things and continues to do so for me as an adult.
My love of crystals, the supernatural, energy work and all sorts grew from there.
When I was 14 I met my husband and he would ask me to play with the energy and give him" healing" on his knee which would help him lol.
I grew up at my Nan and Grandad's and developed very strong bonds with them both, my Grandad nurtured my creative side - and encouraged my love of reading, drawing, painting and woodwork, he was amazing and very talented. He taught me how to play chess when I was 11 years old too.
Now because I stayed there a lot, it was my second home and used to sleep over loads, I slept in one of the back bedrooms and this is where I sensed an energy watching me and still do to this day.
I will be on that top landing and sense whoever it is watching and then as I near the stairs they will come right behind me, very very close behind me, I used to get scared I would be pushed down the stairs but I never was.
Once I saw a lady in that back bedroom and hid under the covers. I knew it was not a dream.
From the age of 16 I was on the healing path, I was led to nursing and did a Nurse Cadet course where I gained my NVQ level 2 in Care as well as other little certificates like counselling and sign language (Makaton it was called then).
I went to Uni at 17 to continue my 3 years diploma but did not finish it (only did 18 months) then - I had some growing up to do and left my mum's, and moved in with my husband, got married at 19 and did some crazy, dangerous stuff (between the age of 18-19) that could have set my life on a different and deadly course but I was lucky and it was just a phase.
We had our daughter when I was 20 and as she grew up around the age of 3 she was seeing relatives that had passed away and they were visiting in her room. This was around the time Dan started seeing Spirit of my family and he became a believer lol - typical - I was the believer yet he got to see my relatives who had passed!!
I had post natal depression and did not bond with my daughter until she was 3 years old, that was difficult and I began to learn I was following a pattern in my history (maternal connection not strong).
I went back to college to do Interior Design for a year - it was a course that was new and did not run again after that year and it was then I realized Nursing is what I must do and made plans to go back and do my 3 years all over again, I qualified in 2010 and landed in the stroke unit where I learnt so much and was thrombolysing people and my time there was the biggest learning curve ever.
It was in the Stroke unit I developed a love for looking after the dying and would often be with people as they took there last breaths. Looking after the dying was the only time I felt comfortable enough to stop and be fully present with them, the rest of the ward could wait.
I would absolutely love using Reiki and become a Soul Midwife - transitioning the dying - that would be my dream.
It was in 2011 when I was miserable and had extremely low self confidence on that ward, very fearful, that I came back to spirituality after a conversation with a colleague during a lift home. I began to seek comfort in Angels and Oracle cards and began my card collection and love of reading cards of all types.
I have been reading cards ever since then and have learnt the runes, dabbled in pendulums (not for me), and continue using crystals.
I often call on the Angels and Mother Mary - who I am very drawn too and taught myself her Rosary, I have 3 of those now which were all gifted to me. I am not religious but do believe in God.
I have also had Hecate made herself known to me and am drawn to Magick but can't seem to get my learning together on that path.
I started a Reiki course in February and I am enjoying the changes in my life since doing that.
I have been blogging all my spiritual experiences which is very varied lol since 2013.
Very long, sorry lol.

Thank you Katrinkah =)
We broke up a couple of times - one at 15 and one at 18 but always gravitated back to each other after failed relationships with others. We were meant to be.

This is a path that many magical folk take. We need to make special consideration for those crossing over, are you still able to sit with the dying? It was in the Stroke unit I developed a love for looking after the dying and would often be with people as they took there last breaths. Looking after the dying was the only time I felt comfortable enough to stop and be fully present with them, the rest of the ward could wait.
