Multiple spells?

Though I'm not new to wicca, I am still quite new when it comes to spell casting, and in my studies I can't seem to recall ever seeing anything on this subject.

What are your thoughts on casting multiple spells for the same issue/subject? Is it not advisable? Or is there nothing wrong with it?

I'm currently preparing to cast my first truly educated spell (I've attempted a couple in the past, but I was not really sure what I was doing) and I've found a few spells on the subject that I really like and that resonate with me, but I'm wondering if I should choose just one, or if it's not a bad idea to use all of them, spread out over a certain period(not all at the same time)?

I tend to cast one spell per issue at a time, because you need to find out what works and what doesn't work. If you cast 10 spells for the same thing, and something does manifest, you now have no clue what one of those techniques is the one that worked.

Oakheart, that makes a lot of sense.

The issue at hand is a pretty big and complicated one, so i'm not certain one spell alone will cover it, but since I'm new to spell casting I've decided to go with the spell that was recommended to me by an experienced witch. I'll give it a good amount of time to take effect, and then decide whether or not to move forward with the other ones.
