Out of the Broom Closet

Greetings, everyone.
For the past few months I've been trying to explore my spirituality. Meditating and recalling on my childhood and other events.
I've always felt 'cast out' in many ways. My parents didn't really know how to connect with me, and I only maybe had 2 friends during elementary school.
I grew up in the woods of Michigan and spent most of my days outside collecting feathers, pretty stones, leaves, etc. I remember trying to create 'potions' with such things. Did they work? I don't remember. Probably not very well as my intent wasn't very clear back then.
I've always had a primal connection with the moon and stars, and my energy seems to flow around it and the seasons. Animals are also an affinity of mine. And they seem to usually have a keen interest in me when I'm around.
As I grew older...maybe around 10 or 11 I wanted to study the Occult after hearing of Wicca for the first time. But with religious and judgemental parents, it wasn't really possible for me to study that.
Ever since then, I just sort of quit or fumbled with self exploration. But here I am, now 23, accepting that I'm at the very least a natural born witch.
As far as Wiccan? I'm not sure yet. I haven't aligned myself with a God or Goddess, and I'm not sure if I will yet.
Either way, the acceptance of who I am is most relieving and jubilating.
