Here is just a few of my many poems. I have not counted them in awhile, but I have written at least 300 poems in all. Only about 40 of them I really care about though.
A lot of these will deal with death and suicide because when I wrote them, I was in a deep depression and that is why I love them, because when I read them I can feel the passion I put into them.
~Before the Dawn~
Within my soul I held concealed,
A secret I had not revealed.
About a love I held so dear.
A love I slowly grew to fear.
Now it's become a love I lost.
I screwed up, and paid the cost.
But it's okay, I've moved on.
I gained, and lost it all before the dawn.
~Goodnight Heaven~
Closing eyes can never see
the beauty that you bring to me.
Whispers dancing in my ears.
Telling me so many fears.
How much pain can we keep,
way down in us deep?
Shadows playing with my eyes.
Showing me all life's lies.
Closing gates I longed to find.
Opening, instead, my mind.
Falling deeper into madness.
Releasing all my sadness.
You caught me in your gentle touch.
Darkness around me, it's too much.
Your eyes compll me, pull me in.
Filling my sould with utter sin.
Goodnight Heaven,
Hello....death.
~Dance With Death~
Screaming out her silence.
Turning her face away.
Crying with a broken heart.
Nothing left for her to say.
Visions of a past romance
blinding tear filled eyes.
Flooding to her suddenly
in a stream of lies.
Voices laughing in her ear,
Reminding her of the pain.
Ripping, tearing at her.
Slowly growing insane.
Singing softly to herself
Dancing in a memory.
Kissing death with red, red lips.
No longer can she see.
Twirling, spinning in a dream.
Living in a lie.
Death is dancing with her.
Dancing to the song of suicide.
~Sleeping Beauty~
Sleeping
Deeply
Wondering
Weeping.
Will you save me?
Will you wake me?
Will I be here forever?
Or will you set me free?
Crying
Reaching
Screaming
Dying.
Can't you hear my scream?
I'm falling apart!
Wake me up!
Ripping at the seam.
Falling
Fading
Leaving
Calling.
I guess nobody cares.
And I guess that's why they say,
That even sleeping beauty
Has her nightmares.
~Untitled~
Poison coursing through my veins.
Blood is dripping, leaving stains.
When I lost you,
I lost my life to.
Crimson tears fill these eyes.
I wish that I could cry
Cry them all away.
I want to die today.
Please do not steal any of these as they are very precious to me. These poems are not merely words on paper, but a piece of my soul, my very being.

~*People fear the beast within the wolf because they do not understand the beast within themselves.*~
poetry
I love these, they are very raw and full of emotion.
I particularly like the Sleeping Beauty poem as I am always interested in the darker side to fairy tales. Have you read Angela Carter's "the Bloody Chamber", a set of classic fairytales with dark and sinister twists. It has the tale of Bluebeard, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty etc in it except they have been altered to suit an adult audience. So for example Sleeping Beauty is no longer asleep in the normal sense, she is a vampire that falls in love with a human and longs to be with him - the only way she can is to give up immortality and kill herself at the same time.
I love the tale she tells of Bluebeard which is the Bloody Chamber story. The chamber is the bridegroom's torture chamber where all his previous dead wives are kept. It is fantastic.

Bubbles float because they are light and happy; don't let life wear you down!
