Poem - No Subject
The air is soft upon my face
I feel the trees around me
Hear them whispering truth
Singing songs of long ago
Will I hear something today?
Will I feel the magic
Will the light touch me as
it so often touches others?
I wonder if I'm too eager
If its meant to feel this way
Erratic, but true
Love of life and love of the world
Connection with all things
The stones and the sheep and
The once-great people of this earth
Were they wiser than me?
Or were they also searching
For the truth of which
I am searching
Did they despair and yet hope?
They they think of their past
Their future
Did they feel helpless sometimes
But despite all my questions
I still press on
I listen
The trees whisper
That all is as it should be
As it is
Just in this very moment
That was a really nice poem, thank-you for sharing it with everyone.
It sounds like you already have an incredibly strong connection
to your path; the wonder and humility which you express in your poem,
and even more so the purity of self which it conveys,
well, it's just great.
Best wishes.

P.S. I don't know anything at all about druidity other than that which
is conveyed in popular culture, trees, rituals etc. It's always sounded
fascinating.
