My apologies for the 'dramatic' title... Just wanted to say something other than a basic hello, haha.

Basically, feel free to call me whatever you like - I'm not particular as this is the Internet after all.

But I'm a witch of over two-decades experience and study, who was initiated into an Alexandrian coven in Inverness a great many years ago. I've read and rejected more material than most people are ever likely to get through, but in all that time I've not found a system that works better than the magic that was first presented in the 60's by the Church of Satan.

But don't worry!

I appreciate how challenging the source material for Satanic magic is, and I know that nobody's particularly interested in an atheist creed based on self-interest, social Darwinism, and a rejection of divinity. What I am interested in, is the continuous look for material that I can try and incorporate into my own Book of Shadows for future reference in my own particular Wheel of the Year.

I'm happy to answer any questions, and hope you don't find my presence here too challenging. All I can say is that I'm not a Satanist, I just know how powerful its magic is.

Consistency please Whatever. If you didn't apologize in '62 why start now? I don't think they'll be a bit of trouble enfolding you in the forum family. I'm a complete eccentric with no problem dropping my 2 cents,nonsense and lack of innocence on all and sundry. You won't be a problem. We're a very eclectic and accepting group. Just be as honest and keep the sense of humor you've shown in your intro and It'll be cool. I have reservations about some aspects of social Darwinism and utter contempt for biological Darwinism, have done a passing study of Satanic church and rituals and Anton was an excellent showman and average occultist {it always ticked him off if you called him Howie though, he never did get over that} with some good people around him, but I'm sure we can discuss that amongst other things that I foresee us PMing about. May your path be smooth and your step be sure and light.

I like the modern philosophical Satanism and call me self that sometimes, but I do not 100% agree with it nor do I really consider myself a Satanist. I think the Satanic Bible is still a must read for every occultist, if not for the experience. It does have some rather good ideas.

Peter Gilmore is often fond of saying that all religions are partly show business, but Satanism is the only one to openly admit it. Perhaps that's what makes the generally good humoured accept Satanic magic for what it is; theatric, psycho-dramatic, visceral, and powerful.

The philosophy behind the religion... Meh. I struggle with a group that uses magic to define itself, then doesn't prescribe magic amongst the membership.
