im lost and confused
not sure what to do
they say that its evil
they say thats its wrong
they say hell is where im going if i continue on
ive read and ive reaserched
ive prayed and ive thought
but no cunclusion have i got
the world is closing in
I dont belive im doing sin
but i just know
im stuck between two roads
is someone out there listining
will someone help me out
come stand by my side
befor i crash and die
is it ok most people dont get it and say its dumb what do you think its about (obviously i know but i wanted to know what others gather from it)

lost
love is not made by magick it comes only from the heart
Thanks for sharing your poem.
To me it sounds like a poem about choice, judgement-of-others, doom
and loneliness, but that's just me reading from the text.
choice: lost-confused-no-conclusion-stuck-between-roads
judgement-of-others: they say ... x 3
doom: sin-hell-world-closing-in-crash-and-die
loneliness: is-someone-out-there-stand-by-my-side
That's a fairly prosaic opinion I guess.
The crude humorous side of me had an idea that the sub-text could be
about self-abuse and the desire for a partner
Seriously though, I also got an impression of someone trying to choose
between their own beliefs and those popular with their peers. I
particularly felt this with regards to the last few lines which seem to cry
out for camaraderie to support the subject in contrast to the first few
lines indicating that those around the subject are condemning the subject.
If I held the above view, I'd say that this poem says to me that choices
which are supported by others can be easier to make than those
seemingly opposed by others.
Anyways, I'm not much good for this kind of thing other than in the
'Captain Obvious' sense but I'm always glad to read others' poetry.
Thanks again!
