The Coming

The Coming.

I see the Goddess in your eyes.
She flows within your breath.
The birds gather, as you walk by.
Calling all to come and fly.

The Great Horned God is on his way.
He searches through the forest.
He draws the animals from afar.
Sees into their minds.

The Goddess smiles, sends forth her light.
Touching all from deep inside.
The animals see her standing there.
The birds up in the sky.

The Great Horned God lifts up his head.
The birds are flying clear.
He sees his Goddess in every mind.
And knows that she is near.
.
The Goddess feels her god come closer.
She reaches out to draw him in.
The Great Horned God can feel her touch.
As the golden glow surrounds him. .

The Goddess pulls him to her breast.
Upon the Earth they stand.
The Great Horned God now understands.
The touch of her physical hand.

“You see, my love.” She says to him.
“Oh yes, my dear, I do.”
“We give to them the gift of touch.”
“So they can learn and grow.”
“As well as understanding,”
“The tenderness of love.”

The Goddess opens her arms.
The Great Horned God receives her.
They flow into the golden light.
That shoots into the cosmos.
