in the episode where the otehr group are trekking accross the jungle, they say that the gun has 1 bullet, when ana lucia shoots shannon you can actually see that the slide mechanism on the gun is un-cocked which means that the gun ahs no more ammo, yet in the next sceen the gun some how has enough ammo to fire more shots, where did this new magazine come from?
All of lifes little problems can be solved by beating the buggers on the head with a broom.
I didn't notice that one either. Does anyone think Walt & Michael will actually make it off the island? I don't think they'll make it off, they're just going to do what Desmond did and come right back in a few weeks or months. What do you think will happen to Jack, Kate, and Sawyer? I think that the others will either kill them or (if they're the good people) they'll be "brainwashed" into becoming "the good guys" that Not Henry says they are. I wonder if Hurley is now the new leader since Jack is gone. I doubt it though, he's kind of unstable at the moment (Libby's death.) And nobody else is sane enough to take charge. The castaways are going to be sitting ducks until Jack comes back (if he ever does.)
The Lost writers have already confirmed that Michael / Walt won't feature very prominently in the next series.. So I'm guessing they probably don't come back
. There'll either be a bomb on the boat, or they'll 'escape' the island.
I get the feeling that the 'Others' aren't going to hurt or kill Jack, Kate or Sawyer. If you watch the end, you can tell that Jack / Kate already have some kind of.. Plan. Look for the signal - Jack nodding, and Kate doing some kind of.. long-blink back at him. Also, as they say, they're the 'good guys'.. And they're certainly never killed / wanted to kill someone they class as a 'good person'. Jack, Kate and Sawyer have been brought there for a reason, and it's not to be killed or brainwashed, of that I'm sure.
It's also been confirmed that 'Henry Gale' will be a very prominent and regular character in the next season.. I'm pretty sure that the Dharma guys (What one would assume the 'Others' are) aren't inherently 'evil'.. Perhaps they just have a skewed sense of reality / morals, or are being paid to screw with the "castaways'" minds.
I, for one, hope that Jack does take a backseat. I don't like him as a 'leader', and never have. He's certainly not the most intelligent guy in the world.. He knew Michael had already lied about why he was taking them to the Others' camp.. So why did he even for a second think that Michael would actually take him to the camp? And, more to the point, why didn't he tell everybody else who was coming along? *shrug* Ridiculous.
I'm not sure about Hurley, but I highly doubt he'll become the new leader. I'm pretty sure that they'll all be able to take care of themselves even without Jack's help. I'm certainly confident that Eko and Locke aren't dead.. Although I'm not sure about Desmond. It'd be kinda 'nice' if he were still alive, and finally got his head straight after destroying the hatch's electromagnetic 'thing' (whatever it is..). Perhaps one of those will be the new 'leader'
?
Some other questions, though. Now that the electromagnetic energy is gone.. What happens to the island's 'healing' power? Is that gone? What about Locke? Rose? Those that've been 'healed' by the Island. Will they start to become ill again?
Also, just what were those Polish guys doing, and where were they? Possibly in the same monitoring station that Hurley's 'Numbers' friend in the psychiatric hospital was stationed in?? You've also got to ask.. is Penny actually looking for Desmond, or does she work for her father, Widmore.. Who owns the Hanso Foundation.. Who owns/owned The Dharma Initiative.. ?
How about Libby? Compulsive liar (i.e. lying about being a psychologist), a plant, or just normal? The writers have confirmed she'll be cropping up in a few more flashbacks... What if she's the reason they all ended up on the island? Some kind of Widmore/Hanso/Dharma operative? Or, perhaps... She was with the anti-Widmore/Hanso/Dharma group... Just like Penny could be?
So many questions
. Playing 'The Lost Experience' only brings up further questions, too... As you can tell from my ranting
Haha.

I don't see how the others could just give Walt back so easily. After all they went through to get him, it just doesn't make sense. They could be finished testing him or have taken his 'gift', if there was a gift to take. I have hope they won't kill Kate & Sawyer. As for Jack, I kind of want him to die, however then there would be no doctor for the castaways if he came back. They must have something planned for the three of them . If he others were going to kill them they could have done it without the help of Michael.
I doubt Hurely as well, but I said him because at this piont he's the only one of the castaways who knows a little bit more about the others. Picking from those that haven't been captured, I think the best trio to lead would be Sayid, Charlie, & Jin. I leave Locke & Eko out because they're a bit crazy (or dead) at the moment. Do you like Charlie? My sister hates him because of what he's done in the past (such as kidnap baby Aaron) and also hates Claire for taking him back. The funny thing is her username is peanut_butter_kisses04. If you don't get that , I'll explain. If you remember back to the episode where Claire had craving for peanut butter while she was pregnant, Charlie brought her some 'peanut butter.' On her lost forum their shipper is PB&J. And now she dislikes the two.
Anyway, I hope the island hasn't lost it's healing powers. I don't want Locke to be disabled again or Rose to have cancer.
Oh, that whole Polish men & Penny thing has really gotten me confused. At this point I don't know what to think. The way the writers introduced them at the end was just what everybody was waiting for... some kind of mind boggling twist to keep you guessing until next season when they barely mention it and you're still confused.
As for Libby here's my theory: The island has/had healing powers and Libby has a mental illness. Therefore Libby was normal while she was on the island but lied to everyone to cover her past. And the reason she could pull off being a psychologist was that she had been around a lot of them while at the asylum. She acted oddly around Hurely when he mentioned that he may have known her from somewere other than the island, because she could remember him from the institution and was afraid he would avoid or dislike her if he could remember as well. I don't think (or at least I hope not) she as anything to do with how or why they're on the island. I'm hoping she was anti- Widmore/Hanso/Dharma.
Sorry for the lengthy reply.
Good theory. I think that the electromagnetic thingy on the island messed them up. I can't wait to learn more about 'Henry.'I'm pretty sure that the Dharma guys (What one would assume the 'Others' are) aren't inherently 'evil'.. Ok this is a passage in the book i have explaning it a little.
The Eight Trigrames where formalized by Fu Hai from patterns on a tortoise shell. Used for basic divination, thay are combined into oaires to creat the 64 Hexagrames for more refine guidance.
I will start at the top and go around clockwise. These are ruff deffinitions.
LI. The trigram Li means "to cling to
something," and also "brightness."
K'UN It represents nature in contrast to
spirit, earth in contrast to heaven, space as against time, the female-maternal
as against the male-paternal.
SUN It is the eldest daughter and
symbolizes wind or wood; it has for its attribute gentleness, which
nonetheless penetrates like the wind or like growing wood with its roots.
CH'IEN These unbroken lines
stand for the primal power, which is light-giving, active, strong, and of the
spirit.
K'AN The trigram K'an means a
plunging in. A yang line has plunged in between two yin lines and is closed
in by them like water in a ravine.
CHEN The hexagram Chên represents the eldest son, who seizes rule with energy
and power. It is symbolized
by thunder, which bursts forth from the earth and by its shock causes fear and
trembling.
KEN The image of this hexagram is the mountain, the youngest son of heaven and
earth. The male principle is at the top because it strives upward by nature; the
female principle is below, since the direction of its movement has come to its
normal end.
In its application to man, the hexagram turns upon the problem of
achieving a quiet heart. It is very difficult to bring quiet to the heart.
TUI The trigram Tui denotes the youngest daughter; it is symbolized by the
smiling lake, and its attribute is joyousness. Contrary to appearances, it is not
the yielding quality of the top line that accounts for joy here. The attribute of
the yielding or dark principle is not joy but melancholy. However, joy is
indicated by the fact that there are two strong lines within, expressing
themselves through the medium of gentleness.
I am not sure how to interpret it, but thats what thay all mean.
