i'm new to this sort of thing, so i was wonderig, what are some good ideas for celebrating sabbats and esbats?
I usually just light a candle and take a few minutes out of my day to acknowledge the holiday. I won't be able to do that much longer though since I'll be dorming in September (no candles or incense permitted...not even christmas tree lights!). Sometimes the most you can do is recognize the Goddess and what the holiday stands for.

I have started following the rituals but sometimes I do as Sanitylost because I work a lot of hours and some of hte rituals need to have some very specific items, which are either difficult for me to get in the area I live or they need you to spend a while on them to make them. I did make my own Brigid's cross from material from my garden but that took a while. I had to soak the stems in jasmine and wait till they were soft enough to bend without splitting. Then the cross needed to be made quickly so that they didn't start to dry out and become brittle. Am planning to make lots of items in the summer holidays (i am a teacher so I get 6 weeks).

Bubbles float because they are light and happy; don't let life wear you down!
