I was wondering if anyone here would mind sharing what they feel makes
someone Pagan. Personally, I feel that self-identification with the term
is enough to make someone Pagan. There is no secret handshake, all that
matters is that you are doing what feels right to you.
I have only been Pagan for a little over a year, though I am proud to be
Pagan, and have met many great people within the Pagan community. I am
Pagan because I identify with the term, and that is all that matters.
I simply feel a strong resonation with the word, and I feel it is the right term to label my beliefs. I don't believe I need to do anything to be Pagan (that's not to say I don't do anything), I believe it is a part of me - and that no matter what I will always be Pagan. This is a strong belief of mine - being Pagan is the thing that has made me happiest in life, and I don't believe I have to meditate, do ritual, be connection to Nature or the God and Goddess to be Pagan. I believe those things help, and I do do them currently, though I don't believe they are utterly fundemental to being Pagan.
Does this make any sense lol? Sorry if it seems like a jumble of random thoughts! I think what I am trying to say is this: I am Pagan - because of my self-identification with the term - and proud of it. I hope that others can accept me as a Pagan also, as I accept them, and see that I am genuine in my desire to grow spiritually and be accepted into the community. I am really just writing this to see if others here agree with me and will accept as a Pagan for who I am. I love this site, and the people here are friendly and helpful - I thank you all for the help you have given me in the past, and I thank you for reading this and for accepting me as a fellow Pagan

What are your opinions on this? Does anyone agree with me?
Blessings!
