I have been trying to read as much as possible about spell, spell casting and the wiccan way in general. However, i have got a bit confused when it comes to casting a circle and calling the quarters. I understand the basic but it is the wording. There are so many different things to say, which one is right or is it personal choice. I would be grateful for anyones feedback.
Thanks in advance.

Casting a circle & calling quarters
Personal choice--spells and rituals mean nothing if they don't mean something to you.
As long as you're respectful, whatever you feel is the right thing to say, is.

The thunder crashed and storms of blinding rain poured down from heaven. Iris, great Juno’s envoy, rainbow-clad, gathered the waters and refilled the clouds

I find that the words I have written myself work really well. There's always a basic pattern to it but I use words which depict each corner/element to me which also helps with visualizing these elements as well.

It's a matter of personal preference for me. I'm very polite when I envoke and call forth the elementals and the Lord and Ladies. I usually just say what's in my heart and that does the trick.
Also, for example. I never Dismiss the four corners when I am done. (Who am I to be "dismissing" elemental powers of creation?) Instead I thank them politly for their attendance and bid them well. With me, it's a reverence thing. These are the binding forces of the universe and they have taken a moment to pay attention to little, insignifigant in the greater scheme 'ol me. I feel the need to show a great amount of respect when I am in private ritual.

The greatest advice I was ever given: It matters not what you believe. Only that you believe it wholeheartedly.
