Hi Moondance,
The energy of Dionysos is widely known for its relation to the dramatic arts. He is a pleasureable deity!! I am not sure about female energy here, but I am sure there are some--perhaps it has something to do with women not being able to act throughout antiquity(?). . .I dunno. . .but, don't forget that acting is lying, so any deity associated with appearance (Aphrodite/Venus??), deception and disguise could be useful here for you. Good luck,

I pray to both for differnt things. Mostly the Goddess, yes, but this is because shes a woman, she knows and understand our worrys and our pains. But sometimes its better to ask the God for help, like if your husband is haveing some type of male trubal. Kinda see what i am meanings?
Merry Part

I was always under the assumption that Dionysus/Bacchus, being the God of Theatre, would be the one you'd want to ask for help.
It's okay to be female and pray to a God--I myself mainly worship Apollo and Dionysus, since I am VERY involved in the arts. They're male--I'm female. I don't see a problem, but hey. Your beliefs are your beliefs.
I've never heard anything about Minerva/Athena being a patron of actors, though, since the theatre is the realm of Dionysus/Bacchus. I've always heard of Athena/Minerva as being a Goddess of wisdom and war. Although...wisdom is good to have at auditions.
Anyway, I know this post is late, but I hope that your audition went well!
