Please help!!
Does anyone know of a spell to defeat drug addiction? This is not for myself as I am not a drug addict, this is for a person I really care about. Also, can you suggest vitamins and herbs to help deal with withdrawal symptoms? I'd appreciate it if anyone can help. Actually, for some reason Spirit has put me in the midst of a house full of addicts. I can't empathize as I have never been addicted to controlled substances and have never tried them. What is the creator trying to tell me I really don't know.
I am concerned about this particular addict because I sense He wants to change his life real bad. As a matter of fact I know he does, therefore he is deserving of help. Now I know you all are wondering why he won't take his butt to rehab... he tried that and I guess he just lost faith because he was right back on it after being clean for awhile. He needs help and hope from all angles.
He wants to get married to someone thinking that marriage will force him to change and quit drugs. He has never told me or anyone else this but trust me, I know. An unsuspecting woman will be in for a rude awakening!! He needs to be counseled and on a the path to healing before he ruins someone Else's life!!!.....

Well I think most importantly your friend needs medical assistance ... you can not really "rely" on magic as a quick fix miracle ... I feel magic gives us that boost we need but we also need to invest into what we want .. for instance, no point doing an employment spell if you arent going to apply for jobs etc and jsut expect a job to turn up at your doorstep ..... (feel free to input if y ou disagree girls n guys!)so really your friend needs proper medical care first of all ....
That said, there are some good spells on the site under the Self Improvement section ... perhaps there is something there that can be of help ... saying that as well .. there is alot of different views on doing a spell on someone else and without their consent ... so be careful with this ... you may want to let your friend know what you are doing (again - if any of you disagree then feel free to input)

Makes plenty sense. I'll just have to continue to pray for him.Well I think most importantly your friend needs medical assistance ... you can not really "rely" on magic as a quick fix miracle ... Dragon. I can empathize. I have been there. As for a spell, no, I can think of nothing. As for something, yes I can. First off, try and convince him to get back onto rehab. Once there, set aside a day for ritual and pray to the Gods and Goddesses for him. Pray for strength through the rough times, comfort through his pain and guidence so he may see the light in the darkness. Personaly, I use the Norn so entreat Urdu for strength, Vervandi for comfort and Skuld for insight and guidencs. Feel free to work with whatever you are comfortable.
If you cannot convince him then simply pray that the God and Goddess can open his eyes in time to see things for himself.
I will pray for your friend.
As for why you are there? That is for you to figure out. When the time comes, you will know.

The greatest advice I was ever given: It matters not what you believe. Only that you believe it wholeheartedly.
I really appreciate your replies. As of now my best bet is to pray for him. See we use to see each other and had a terrible heart rending split. We never got to boyfriend and girlfriend; It's as if we were trying but our personality differences and other misunderstandings, plus people pulling us away from each sealed our fate. Not to mention that I did not have one happy moment with him. When he decided he wanted to get closer to me, I did not trust him anymore and could not open my heart to him and plus like I said, hes a crack head, the worst drug on the streets.Dragon. I'm not putting him down, NO! I see the affects of crack and it is a sad event for everyone involved. We just can't seem to talk to each other. Like I said I don't trust him because he said some foul things to me and alot of things he did just turned me off. But I truly do, deep in my heart still care for him although I know we could never make it as a couple.
Now he has a girlfriend he seems to be very happy with. I know he has proposed to her because he always mentioned marriage to me. Like I said he feels that marriage will change him. I must admit he is doing better than he was when we first started talking; Taking a bath, going to work everyday, buying himself things, etc..
I feel like he is scared of me. Sometimes it seems as if he wants to talk about something but just can't bring himself to do it. I can't trust him enough with my feelings to initiate another convo with him, plus I must admit I am a little jealous of his new relationship. It's mostly ego. You know how that is.
We keep going through these moments of back and forth...one day he likes me the next he won't even speak. One day I feel for him, the next I hate him. I'm just tired and really want to move away so I won't have to see him or hear his voice. See our situation is hard; We live in the same house that belongs to my cousin and his wife along with some other people.
I use to pray real hard for him. After that, he started doing better. I will speak a prayer for him every now and then.
But heart felt talking is out of the question. I tried that and It did not help our situation to the extent where I can share my desire to help him over come his addiction. I really don't think he feels that he is that bad off; But crack makes you delusional. I don't think he would even want my help now. To much bad blood between us. Thats why I was asking for some type of spell.

The only thing I can think of would be a asking the Lord and Ladies to open his eyes to what's going on. I just hope they aren't as harsh as they have been to some in the proccess of "opening" his eyes.
Blessed be those whom need it the most.

I've read this post 4 or 5 times now and allways refrained from posting.
I'm more concerned about you and the fact that you're living in an environment surrounded by drug taking. How do these people pay for their rent and bills etc etc. How do they fund their drug habits?
I hope and pray that you are not left to cover their costs of living and I hope and pray that you are strong enough to resist the temptation to take drugs yourself.
I'd feel a whole lt better if you took yourself out of this environment and found somewhere else to live.

I'm working on it. Just got news today that we all might have to leave within the next 30 to 60 days. I moved here in March of this year and of course was not expecting all of this!! Nothing has turned out as planned, but the creator is already making a way for another place to stay and soon it seems.I've read this post 4 or 5 times now and allways refrained from posting.
