Something that just recently happened

Ok, so yes, I am new here, I hopw that is the last time I will say that.

But anyways, as a new person to the craft, I made the full decision to take part in Wicca not too long ago (aside from the fact that it has been a part of my life indirectly for all of my life).

Well, about the day after I decided, I went outside to get more in touch with the nature around me, and to smell the scents and hear the noises of the world. But my neighbor's noisy dogs was all I was hearing. Ahem, so I got up to find a new spot.

And as soon as I turned around to look for a new spot, I look down, and spot five, yes five, beautifully colored blue feathers. And they were striped with black.

I wasn't sure what to do, but I picked them up, thanked the bird for its sacrifice, and left the area.

After looking around, the closest identification to the feathers that I can find is the blue jay, but I'm not exactly sure.

And I read again, day after day, that nothing is a coincidence, right?

Sounds like a sign from the divine. That place is good for you. Just because the dog was barking doesn't mean you should ignore the nature there. Remember, the dog is one of the God & Goddess's little ones as well as you. If he starts up next time, listen to him. Listen to the bark and try to find the divine in it as you do with all of natures sounds. You might discover something there that you were meant to find but wasn't aware of before.
