Hi i posted a question yesterday about my grandaughters birth and the psycic shock wave that accompanied it. though several people have looked at it i have had no responses. am i asking the wrong people? and if so can you direct me to the right people to ask. I know nothing about wicca. I only know a few simples and sometimes have feelings of what to say next. so basicaly i need some direction. please let me know if anyone can stear me in the right place.
thanks mslssa
am i looking in the wrong place
the reason no one replied is probably because no-one has experienced something similar. but as far as a psy shock wave are you sure it was no more then your being overwhelmed?
if it was more how did you feel afterwards was it a calming sensation or was it a bad feeling, did it drain you of energy or what?

baby arrival
thanks for your thoughts. When my first grandaught came and also with this one yes there was that physical wash of emotion but with the first it felt like being swaddled in a warm blanket, with this child it was more a silent blast of sound ( I know that seems strange, but it's the best discription i can come up with) It passed thru me and hit the people behind me, other family members. This childs birth was silently loud without the warm fuzzies of the first.
I'm sorry, mslssa, I've never heard of such a thing. I guess it's something that you'll have to keep in mind for the future. If it was something spiritually significant, then I'm sure that future occurrences will shed more light on the matter.
Just a thought... maybe you could contact a midwife and see if she has ever experienced anything like this. She would be far more knowledgable on the phenomena of birth than I. Good luck, and I hope you find the answers you're looking for.

Re: baby arrival
Treading new ground here myself. Was the labor or birth particularly difficult with either? It may be that your two daughters are really tied into the life force. You could have been picking up their emotions. One, relief that the whole ordeal was over, and the other terror and abject shock at the whole experiance. Not sure. This is just Wild a$$ guessing on my part, no real proof or backing. I was way too stunned and shocked at my son's birth to have noticed a 5 ton gorrilla if it'd tapped me on the shoulder. I was THE first thing he saw when he was born. He came out and looked right at me first. Screw the doctor, he wasn't even fully out of my wife and he looked at ME. It's a serious attitude humbiler to experiance. I have a friend who has just recieved his first born from the Divine and is just starting to experiance the "joys" of parenting. LEt me know and I will try to help. My mentor may have an insight into this but I am not sure.thanks for your thoughts.
