Hello to All

Postby capri5150 » Sun Nov 05, 2006 6:56 am

Merry Meet Everyone

Hope all is well and all of you are having a great day!. Just wanted to
stop in and say hello. I know I don't post often on here but the
information all of you post is greatly appreciated.

I do hope everyone had a great Samhain!

I was wondering what plans everyone has for Yule. I am always seeking
new ideas for homemade things. The one thing I am going to try this
year is dried fruit (lemons, oranges, grapefruit, etc) on homemade
wreaths.

Just wanted to say hello. feel free to email me anytime.

Many Blessings to you all

*big hugs back*

It was a wonderful Samhain! I was in my first circle (I was East for the ritual) and I had some amazing experiences! I can't wait for Yule to do it again since I'm solitary and likely won't do any group work until then.

I don't have any ideas yet, though.

I am sortof new at all of this and the only ideas and guidence I get is off of this website. Is that sad or what? I mean my mom, my aunt, and a few others in my family used to practice but they don't want us to. (my cousin and I) I find it messed up but they must have good reasons. but yeah I don't really know what I am going to do. I think it would be awesome to do a group practice for Yule.

Actually I had an absolutly wonderful SamHain, thank you for asking.

And most of my gear is of a homade origin. I am a firm believer that to make ones tools is to be closer linked with them. The quest sometimes, for a specific tool or item can bring one closer to the Divine by the act of questioning oneself during the search.

Good luck.

Glad to Hear...

I am glad to hear that everyone had a great Samhain. I love Yule and I have been making a lot of homemade crafts, etc for gifts, that I do pretty much since I can remember.

I do agree that making your own tools can empower them more, and you are more connected to them.

In my family/ancestry, though I haven't found anyone who claimed to be a "witch" but they had a lot of the "qualities" that you could consider to be a witch. On my mother's father's side there is Native American (Cherokee) from what I am told. By researching my family roots, I discovered what I believed had a name. Basically it all falls under Wicca.

Well enough chattering lol I need to get some things done around the house while the kids are in school and hubby at work.

talk to you all laters

have a great and blessed day
