For anyone interested, the ancient Egyptian new year is in a few days. (Timed with the rising of Sirius, not the ancient dates.) There are 5 deity birthdays coming before the new year.

aug 2 - Birthday of Wesir (Osiris)
aug 3 - Birthday of Heru-Wer (Horus the elder)
aug 4 - Birthday of Set (Seth)
aug 5 - Birthday of Aset (Isis)
aug 6 - Birthday of Nebet-Het (Nephthys)
aug 7 - New Year

So if you have a connection to any of these deities, you may want to do a little ritual for them.
