Here in Michigan we're about to go from tee shirts to wooly underwear. I love this time of year. I look forward to snow up to my bum.

We have little black and white sparrows called Junkos that overwinter here and "when the Junkos come to stay, then the snow is on the way."

How's the weather where you are and do you have any local weather lore?

not particularly....but when I lived in Dallas, they used to say "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes. chances are you'll like it even less."
