usually "likeness" refers to a similarity or a copy of something.

I think he means what traits in other people do we like the most? Correct me please if I'm wrong as I'd love to know what you mean also :) If I am right in what you mean, it's very hard to say as each person I know is a total individual and I like them all in different ways for all different reasons.
